 Letter from the President

Welcome to Alpha Chi Omega! January is such an exciting time to be on SMU’s campus because with it comes a new year, a new (beautiful) pledge class, a new executive board, and the start of a new semester. I have enjoyed the past three years I’ve spent on SMU’s campus as an Alpha Chi Omega, and am so honored to serve the chapter as President in 2017—but I am very much looking forward to the year ahead. This year, our executive board is seeking the heights in all areas of chapter life. This team is so proud of the work they have already done and ready to tackle the challenges that lie ahead. Whether its raising over $100,000 at Alpha Chi Couture, taking over a Soul Cycle class for an afternoon, or hosting an exciting date dash, our officers are going bigger and better than they’ve ever done before. Needless to say, there is a lot to look forward to in the next several months.

If there’s anything I’ve learned since becoming an Alpha Chi Omega, it’s that being a part of this sisterhood means being surrounded by women who are going to encourage you, challenge you, and laugh with you for far longer than our time at SMU. It means finding sisters—real sisters—and building relationships that will last a lifetime.

We are proud to be Alpha Chi Omegas, and we’d love to share this bond with you. See you on campus!
