Dear incoming Class of 2026,

Right now you are going through one of the most exciting times of your life! There are lots of emotions involved— it’s hard, exciting, hopeful, and motivating all at once. There are also a lot of unknowns. Four years ago, I was in your shoes— so let me tell you what I know.

1. Boulevarding is my favorite activity, second to brunch

2. A good late night Fondren study session is always rewarding

3. Always say yes to long drives, good music and people

4. Movie marathons in the dorm are a must

5. Random moments that form deep connections are unforgettable

6. Life-changing conversations are often

7. College is four years and sisterhood is for life

8. Running home to 3020 Daniel is the best choice I’ve ever made

So, buckle up, because these next few years are going to go by fast! Enjoy every little moment. This year is my final time in this chapter and it feels like yesterday was the moment that I ran home to the house that built me. You are about to meet some amazing people— people that you can’t ever picture your life without. We are so BEYOND excited to meet you!!
